Do we need a new phone number?
No. Patients keep calling the number they already know. You forward the calls your team can't pick up to Sylaro with a short code on your phone, and switch it off the same way.
Will patients know it isn't a person?
Yes. It introduces itself as the clinic's assistant, and puts the call through to your team whenever someone asks for a person.
What happens with urgent calls?
Severe pain, bleeding, a child who is unwell: anything urgent is put straight through to your staff, or the caller is told to ring emergency services. It never tries to handle an emergency itself.
Does it give medical advice?
No. It books visits and answers questions about your clinic, like hours, fees, location and services. Anything clinical is passed to your team.
Can it book straight into our calendar?
Yes, with Google Calendar or Outlook, or into Sylaro's own calendar. You choose whether bookings go straight in or wait for your team to approve them.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Tagalog and Bisaya, and it follows the patient when they switch between them.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Choose a plan and pay by card. If you don't, the assistant pauses and calls go back to your clinic as before. Nothing is deleted.
Can we cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are monthly with no contract. Cancel from your billing page and it stops at the end of the month you've paid for.
